Miles lived in Africa for most of his early years. He studied Business Studies at University and then worked in France for a year in order to learn the language. Later Miles went back to University to study International Relations and then Development Studies. With such an interest in the international arena it was inevitable that Miles ended up working for Medecins Sans Frontiers. What interests Miles the most is the socio political impact of Globalism and US and UK Foreign Policy.
